Step 1 – Remove the 4 screws holding the sensor together.
Step 2 – Remove the switch and buzzer assembly.
Step 3 – Unsolder the RED wire from the switch.
Step 4 – Cut the 18-20 AWG wire to Two (2) feet in length.
Step 5 – Solder the wire to the normally open terminals as pictured on the side of the switch. In our product photo, that is the bottom two terminals as pictured.
Step 6 – Solder the other end of the wire to the 1/4″ mono speaker plug. There is no polarity of the wires.
Step 7 – Re-assemble sensor.
That’s it. The conversion can be done in less than 5 minutes once all materials/tools are ready to go. The speaker is no longer used and can be stored for later conversion back to stock, or tossed in the trash.
Warning: Do not use any batteries in conjunction with the switch. Doing so will damage the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).
